LOCAL ESTATE AND ELDER LAW ATTORNEY MICHAEL ROBINSON ATTENDS EXCLUSIVE LEGAL CONFERENCE
Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes Region— November 9, 2015— Prominent estate planning and elder law attorney, Michael Robinson, attended one of the nation’s premier legal conferences in San Diego, CA alongside over 100 estate planning law firms from across the country. Hosted by the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, the 22nd annual Fall Summit was held from October 14-19 and centered on the theme, “Imagination Creates Reality.”

The American Academy‘s mission is to provide its Membership with the means to transform their businesses and the way they practice law. These bi-annual conferences deliver the practice management, leadership training, and front-line legal education necessary to stay at the top of their field in order to provide exceptional service for their clients. “This Fall Summit was an inspiring event for all! Our Members and their teams spent time focusing on reimagining what they do and how they can make positive changes to their practice that impact themselves and their valuable clients,” said Sanford M. Fisch, CEO and co-founder of the American Academy.

Kai Kight, an innovative composer and violinist, set the tone during Thursday’s welcome session with his inspiring keynote presentation, “Composing Your World: How to Create a Path Fueled by Imagination and Fulfillment.” Michael Robinson also received important legal education and insight into new legal strategies during the course of the weekend. Featured topics included: Solving the Puzzle: The Interaction of Trusts and Retirement Plans; Jeopardy for Estate Planning Attorneys: Case Studies – Answering Questions You Never Thought to Ask; Tips, Tricks, and Traps In Planning, Drafting and Administering Trusts; and Funding and Asset Tracking Solutions. Unique estate planning needs for LGBTQ communities was discussed as well.

The event was a transformative experience for the attorneys and their firms, giving them an opportunity to imagine new possibilities for their practice and the tools needed to implement new or improve on existing services for their clients and families. Michael Robinson said, “Our goal is for families in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes area to have an effective estate plan in place that preserves their legacy for future generations. The American Academy and these events are an essential component in providing me and my team with the education, systems and resources that makes it possible for us to continue making a difference, one family at a time.”

TESTIMONIALS

A pleasure as always dealing with the entire staff. Always willing to explain the answers to our questions.

- Joseph and Julie Ann M. Client Review August 26, 2020

Over the years we have been to many programs regarding Estate Planning. We were most impressed with Mr. Robinson’s presentation - both in subject matter and explanation in an understandable manner. We have put our “trust” in his competent hands. We were not aware of the complexity and the volume of paperwork generated for this undertaking. We found his staff to be most capable and client oriented in their knowledge and delivery.

Our overall experience was one of thoughtfulness, clarity and comprehensiveness on the part of Michael Robinson, his staff and associates. We attended Michael’s seminar on legacy wealth, and found him to be clear and well-spoken. He touched on all aspects of Estate Planning in which we were interested. Our first of two visits to his office was timely and helpful enough for us to consider developing a plan. We finalized our document at a necessary meeting. His staff was accommodating and virtually spelled out every aspect of the plan. We highly recommended Michael and his system for developing a trust.
