At the Law Office of Michael Robinson, P.C. Law Firm, we serve the families of Monroe County and surrounding areas for over 36 years in Elder Law and Estate Planning. Our mission is educating our clients and community on the estate planning issues facing families today. We do this because we want to create peace of mind for our clients and our clients’ family.
We’re looking for a compassionate, full time Director of Client Services who is a self-starter and possesses excellent communication skills to join our small team. They enjoy welcoming our clients and treating them like family, managing a busy appointment calendar, and handling multiple phone lines and a variety of office tasks. Our ideal candidate is eager to learn and wants to grow in their skills and responsibilities down the line. If this sounds like you, we want to talk with you!
Experience & Skills Requirements
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Has excellent verbal, grammar and proofing skills
- Is detailed oriented and has strong organizational skills to accurately manage multiple calendars, competing priorities, deadlines, and various tasks

- Is adept at using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and Zoom

Estate and Trust Administration Paralegal

We’re the Law Office of Michael Robinson, P.C., a leading expert in estate planning and elder law in Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes, and we’re adding to our team of dedicated, client-focused professionals to work in our Pittsford office. We’re currently seeking an experienced Estate and Trust Administration Paralegal. Paralegal certification is not required, experience is. It is vital that this person be warm, friendly, energetic, poised and team-oriented. In this position, you will be assisting our attorneys primarily in the probate and administration of decedents’ estates, including administration of trusts. You will be preparing documents and filing documents with Surrogate’s Court. You will be meeting with clients both in person and over the telephone, and you will be dealing with courts and various financial institutions on our clients’ behalf. Some firm events are held during the evening hours and on the weekends, such as educational programs and client appreciation events. If you do not enjoy being passionately committed to your job and busy all day with a wide variety of activities, then this position is not for you. We encourage personal and professional growth, and you will have opportunity for both at our firm. Excellent word processing, spelling, grammar and spreadsheet skills required.
Experience & Skills Requirements
- First and foremost, must be a fun-loving, cheerful, energetic people person, with strong in-person, phone, and written interpersonal communication skills and a strong command of the English language.
- Must be passionate about helping our clients and their families; take pride and joy in providing the highest-quality services possible; and enjoy creating a very welcoming and warm environment.
- Strong background in customer service preferred. Our clients will love you — and probably keep you on the phone too long — because of your patience, understanding, and consideration for our clients. In fact, your ability to interact with people of all ages and professional backgrounds make you a natural for this opportunity.
- Have a strong professional work ethic.
- Minimum of 2 years working as an estate administration paralegal
- Confident and always have a polished, professional demeanor and appearance, including how you speak and how you act.
- Always wear a smile, are friendly, cordial, gracious, polite, patient, and considerate.
- Committed to operating in a team environment with a certain amount of autonomy and self-management.
- Highly attentive to detail (to a fault, but not paralysis), organized, dependable, and consistent.
- Able to set schedules and meet deadlines. You make a great contribution to our firm because of your commitment to our team.
- Energy and a great attitude are very important.
- Able to learn, accurately follow, and manage workflow systems.
- Very computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and comfortable learning and mastering new database systems/programs.
- Comfortable and trustworthy in working with confidential information.
- There will be study and training to prepare you for the position, and professional coaching will never end.
