About Laura Schumacher

Laura is the Estate Paralegal at the Law Office of Michael Robinson, P.C. She is responsible for production of all estate planning documents, while also specializing in the funding aspects of clients’ trusts. Laura also processes the administration on estates. Previously, Laura worked in the Accounting field, as a Staff Accountant for Caldwell Manufacturing Company in Rochester, NY. Prior to that, Laura worked in corporate headquarters for a staffing organization in a Team Lead Accounts Receivable position.

Education

Laura first attended Morrisville State College, just east of Syracuse, NY. There, she majored for two years in Equine Science and Management, receiving her associates degree in 2005. She then transferred to SUNY Brockport, which is west of Rochester, NY and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 2008.

Personal

Laura rides and competes with her horses on the weekends and in her free time in the discipline of Eventing. She also goes foxhunting with her horses and the hounds in the Genessee Valley Hunt. Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, who is a dairy farmer in Naples, NY. They go hiking, camping, and do all different outdoor activities together. Laura and her husband also attend church every Sunday in Cohocton, NY, as Laura is growing in her new Christian faith.

Laura grew up in Churchville, just outside of Rochester, New York and relocated to the beautiful Naples, New York when she got married.
